It happened to Me

At 45 I was navigating the legalities of divorce, major financial changes, making sure I was being the best mom to my 3 teens to help them through the process, dealing with the fears and anxieties of the unknown future, all while continuing to live with my ex.

Even as a Certified Sleep Coach, since 2007, my sleep took a hit. I was lying awake at night replaying arguments, worrying about money, and dreading what tomorrow might bring. My stress was at an all-time high, and I knew that if I didn’t get it under control, it would impact not only my health but also the decisions I had to make during my divorce.

Since then, and in becoming a Certified Divorce Specialist®, I realized something important: divorce isn’t just about the legal process or the emotional process, it’s also about your overall health and wellness throughout one of the hardest time of your life.
